Mayfair New FOB Distribution Schedule

FOBS for the new access will be ready to distribute to the Mayfair later this week. The Two FOBs per suite (free of charge) can be picked up from the Clubhouse as per the schedule below:

  • Floors 1 and 2: 11:00 AM and 02:00 PM Thursday May 07th
  • Floors 3 and 4: 11:00 AM and 02:00 PM Friday May 08th

An option for one or two of your issued FOBs, is an “Easy Press” FOB. This FOB has buttons that are easier to press, although it is more fragile and expensive than the issued FOBS thus there is a $10.00 extra charge for this option. Please bring $10.00 per “Easy Press” FOB option.

NOTE: It is very important that you obtain the new FOBs.  When each component of the new system (e.g.  condo, clubhouse, entry gates) comes online in the next few weeks, the old FOBs will not access the new system.  HOWEVER, you will need to continue to use the old FOB on each component until that component is switched to the new system.

If you cannot pick up the FOB at the scheduled time due medical issues, holidays, or working please contact your floor/ building captain and alternate times will be provided.

We will be updating the Emergency contact information at the clubhouse along with issuing FOBs. Please have any updates in your emergency contacts, pets, medical changes, vehicles, etc. on hand.

 

Access System Update

This is the first information update regarding the Access System (FOB). The data base is effectively completed and we are about to begin handing out the FOBs.
From May 04th to May 11th the Windsor residents will have the option of Trading in their FOBs, received in November, for the “Easy Press” FOB (with a $10.00 trade-in). This FOB Trade-in  is in effect for one week only.
With the assistance of the Emergency Response team and the building/ floor captians the Mayfair residents will be receiving their FOBS May 07th  and 08th 11.00 AM to 2:00 PM in the clubhouse. All residents will have the option of the OEM  or the “Easy Press ” FOBs ($10 upcharge for “Easy Press”) The emergency contact information will also be updated at that time and options for photos for front panel face recognition.
Kensington will be next tentatively scheduled for the week of  May 11.
FOBS for the townhouses will be issued shortly after that utilizing the townhouse zones.
If you are going on holiday over the next few weeks please contact the office / zone /building captians to fit you in on a priority basis. Also if you are not available during week days for work etc. please contact  office / zone /building captians for available times. We are reserving the weekend office hours for weekday workers.
The contractor is presently installing new readers in the (intermittent) Windsor Pedestrian Gate and will shortly be upgrading the (non-functioning) Front pedestrian gate panel (Face recognition, bluetooth, OCR, FOB). New style FOBs  will be need to access these gates.  The first building to be modified is the Mayfair followed by the Kensington. Once all FOBS are distributed then the clubhouse, vehicle gates, and exterior pedestrian gates will be modified.

 

 

 

Final Access (FOB) system information session

The second and final information meeting addressing the AGM sprending resolution for replacement of our access (FOB) system will be held tonight  (Monday Evenitg ) 07.00  to 08:00 PM in the Fireside room.

Information meeting for FOB Replacement System

There is a spending resolution at the upcoming AGM  addressing the replacement of our present access (FOB) system. To provide additional clarity on the spending resolution two information sessions are planned to discuss:

    • Details of our present Access (FOB) system
    • Why do we need to replace present system
    • Details on proposed system  ( already installed in the Windsor)

Information meetings will be held in the Fireside room Monday April 13th and 20th 7:00 to 8:00 PM
