A Thanksgiving Reflection Chelsea Gardens: Celebrating Our Fabulous Volunteers

Below is a is a well appreciated note expressing thanks for our many Chelsea volunteers.

Chelsea Gardens is more than just a beautiful space—it’s a community driven haven, brought to life through the dedication of our volunteers. From the stunning koi pond to the carefully maintained irrigation systems, every corner of our garden thrives thanks to their hard work and passion.

One of the most significant contributions comes from our irrigation team, whose expertise and commitment have saved the Gardens a remarkable $100,000 annually. What would have been a costly expense for commercial services is now managed by skilled volunteers who not only maintain the system but also ensure that the Gardens flourish year-round. Their behind-the-scenes work helps conserve water and keep our landscapes lush, reflecting both their care for the Gardens and their commitment to sustainability.

Our koi, turtle pond and fountain, a centerpiece of Chelsea Gardens, is another shining example of volunteer dedication. Maintaining the crystal clear water and ensuring the health of the koi fish are tasks that require attention to detail and a love for the environment. Thanks to our volunteers, visitors can enjoy the calming ambiance of the pond and fountain, which have become favourite spots for relaxation and reflection.

The RV lot also got a major upgrade with painted new lines and a much needed pressure wash. All of this project was also achieved by dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly through some of the hottest days of summer.

Beyond these visible achievements, our volunteers are active in numerous other ways that often go unnoticed but are essential to the Gardens’ operation. The addition of a lovely sitting area in front of the Mayfair and Kensington, the excellent upgrade of all the benches in our complex adds to our enjoyment. From tending to plants, and recycling fundraisers for the food bank, to organizing events and ensuring that everything runs smoothly— these individuals embody the heart and soul of Chelsea Gardens.

Without our volunteers, the Gardens simply wouldn’t be the same. Their dedication transforms Chelsea Gardens into a thriving oasis that continues to bring joy to all who visit. We are deeply grateful for their tireless efforts, making this place not only beautiful but also truly special.

Phoenix Roof Consultants Flat tire Memo

Below is a note from  Phoenix Roof Consultants regarding flat tires.

Flat Tires

In the case that you get a flat tire it is very important that when you get your tire fixed, that the object that is removed from the tire is kept so we can produce the object along with the bill to the roofing contractor for reimbursement. If the object does not appear to be a roofing nail or a fastener related to the roofing project your claim may be denied. We always try to be fair on these claims for reimbursement. It is best if you could take a photograph of the flat tire on your vehicle and call us right away so we can inform the roofing contractor. If your tire cannot be repaired (for example if it is in the sidewall) the roofing contractor will reimburse you for a portion of the new tire based on the remaining service life of your existing tire.
