A resident reports: I just had a very pushy slick call from a guy claiming to be with Fortis, asking me to sign up for rate protection. Said I should have had a green booklet in the mail. I asked for it to be resent in the mail but he said it was not possible. Wanted details of my bill and e-mail address. I called Fortis. It has nothing to do with them.

Our thanks to Cherith Johnson and Barb Gregg for their video clips of the pomp, pageantry and poetry from our Robbie Burns dinner. Both our photographers captured some parts so you will find a bit of duplication but it’s worth watching both versions since they are taken from different positions and often one photographer catches a particular bit of action better than the other.
